While "going
green" might be the latest Hollywood trend, we've been
recycling since the early 1900's. Our passion for recycling
remains the same from when our doors first opened in 1909. Metal
recycling has come a long way during the past 100 years and
we have had to adapt to the changing global economy along the
way. With our foresight and ability to evolve we have become
one of Vancouver's largest exporters of scrap metal. The material
we export ends up in one of many Asian countries where the metal
is then melted down and formed into consumer products such as
TV's, computers and cell phones.
We are proud
to be part of BC's recycling solution by not only recycling
metal, but educating the public as to what material is recyclable.

see the various types of metal that we accept. The language
may be industry jargon so to make it clear - ALL METAL IS RECYCLABLE.
This includes items that contain metal components such as computers
and items that are completely made of metal such as filing cabinets.
